Dr. Valle completed residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital. He then completed fellowship training in pediatric cardiology, adult congenital heart disease, and pediatric cardiovascular critical care at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Valle is a member of the Boston Adult Congenital Heart (BACH) program and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). He is a founding member and co-chair of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Special Interest Group within the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society.. His research interests focus primarily on identifying risk factors for adverse post-operative and ICU outcomes for adults with congenital heart disease.
As both a pediatric and adult congenital cardiologist with a particular focus on the acute care and ICU settings, I have the privilege to care for individuals with congenital heart disease of all ages in their most vulnerable moments. As a member of both the BACH and CICU programs, I strive to build bridges to improve care for the growing population of adults with congenital heart disease with critical care needs.
