Christopher Isibor is a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in pediatric neurosurgery and cerebrovascular conditions at Boston Children’s Hospital. He provides care for children with complex conditions such as moyamoya disease, arteriovenous malformations, aneurysm, and Vein of Galen malformations, working closely with families to guide them through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Christopher is committed to delivering compassionate, family-centered care while ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence.
In addition to his clinical work, Christopher serves as the Education Lead for the Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Program at Boston Children’s Hospital. In this role, he designs and leads structured training, mentorship, and professional development programs for nurse practitioners and physician assistants, helping to prepare the next generation of pediatric neurosurgical providers. He also serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where he enjoys teaching and mentoring graduate students as they develop their skills and confidence in pediatric care.
Christopher earned his MBA in Finance and Healthcare Management, strengthening his ability to lead programs, improve systems of care, and support healthcare teams in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care. He is actively involved in research focused on improving outcomes for children with cerebrovascular disease and regularly shares his findings through publications and national presentations. Through his work, Christopher combines clinical expertise, leadership, and scholarship to improve care for children and support families facing complex neurosurgical challenges.
